# 5.3.16. Leaderboards & Seasonal Rewards

Gameness features a global leaderboard system that ranks users, players, guilds, and esports teams based on their achievements, tournament victories, and overall engagement. Leaderboards reset at the end of each season, with top-ranked users receiving exclusive rewards such as limited-edition NFTs, $GNESS Tokens, tokens from incubated projects, NessPerience points, and other in-app incentives. This seasonal rewards system cultivates a competitive environment, encouraging users to actively participate throughout each season and fostering long-term engagement on the platform.
